HAI Aluminum expands its extrusion line in Romania

Hammerer Aluminum Industries (HAI) is working on expanding the factory it owns in Chișinău-Criş in Arad County, with an aluminum extrusion line with a capacity of 40 MN.

The new automated line and its associated infrastructure will significantly expand the production capacity of the factory, which supplies high-quality profiles for the industrial, construction and photovoltaic panel markets.

Our company also participates in the factory expansion works, which is responsible for installing the security and communication systems: the fire detection and warning system, the burglary detection and warning system, the video surveillance system, the access control system and the entire infrastructure of voice-data.

The works are complex and long-lasting. The video surveillance system will be equipped with approximately 100 video cameras both inside and outside the site. The fire detection system will consist of hundreds of detectors and dozens of sirens and emergency alarm buttons. Access doors will be equipped with proximity readers and magnetic contacts. Tens of thousands of meters of cable and hundreds of data sockets will be installed. The IT room will be equipped with the best performing equipment.

In addition to the new extrusion line, the new 25.000 square meter hall will also provide more space for processing and logistics. In addition, 5 other buildings were built to provide auxiliary production functions, as well as the related infrastructure of roads and concrete platforms. HAI Group took over the aluminum processing unit from Chișinău-Cris in 2019.

Also in Romania, HAI started production at the factory in Sântana (Arad), where a new melting furnace was installed at the beginning of 2022. The operations of the HAI group in Romania are carried out through the local company HAI Extrusion, producer of aluminum profiles.
