part of the Electrica Group, is the electricity distribution operator that serves the central and southern area of Transylvania. The Electric Energy Distribution Company Transilvania Sud SA operates in the counties of Alba, Brasov, Covasna, Harghita, Mures and Sibiu, with an operating area of approximately 34.100 square kilometers.
With a tradition of 120 years, SDEE Transilvania Sud offers services to approximately 1.2 million consumers, through a distribution network with a length of over 53.000 kilometers and a team of over 2.200 employees.

The project carried out by ICCO Systems, worth 71.000 Euros, consists of burglary detection and warning installations, perimeter detection, access control and video surveillance for:

For the realization of these installations, the following equipment was needed:

9 break-in detection and warning centers
133 passive infrared detectors
28 Infrared barriers
24 magnetic contacts
6 access control readers
82 full HD video cameras
10 digital video recorders

After putting the electronic security systems into operation, SDEE Transilvania Sud SA will give up human security services. The substantial savings achieved in this way allow a rapid depreciation of electronic security systems. (less than 6 months)
