The Czech food products retailer Rohlik Group, the operator of the largest online supermarket in the Czech Republic, opens its first branch in Romania, under the name "Sezamo". Rohlik has rented a logistics warehouse of 12.000 square meters in CTPark Bucharest North, from where it will make deliveries starting with the first half of this year.

ICCO Systems joins the storage space development project and will ensure the design and installation of low current systems:

  • Burglary detection and alarm system with permanent monitoring of all areas inside the warehouse in order to prevent and detect intrusion attempts by unauthorized personnel
  • Video surveillance system composed of 100 video cameras equipped with artificial intelligence in order to classify and store events based on well-established security scenarios.
  • Access control system and electronic time attendance designed to monitor all access ways in the space owned by the beneficiary. Additionally, turnstiles will be installed in the employee access areas to obtain a maximum degree of security inside the warehouse. Based on the access rights, the beneficiary has the possibility to generate electronic time attendance reports for each employee or department.
  • The voice-data & WiFi network provided with 100 professional access points in order to fully cover the warehouse.

The WiFi network is one of the most important elements on which the good functioning of Sezamo's technological processes depends, taking into account that each individual product is identified, selected, packaged and then delivered based on barcode scanning, scanning that will be done with equipment connected to the central server via the WiFi connection.

Rohlik Group is one of the European leaders in the field of online deliveries of food products. Founded in 2014, Rohlik Group achieved sales of over 300 million euros last year. The group operates under the Rohlik (Czech Republic), Kifli (Hungary) and Gurkerl (Austria) brands and is preparing to launch in Munich with the Knuspr brand.
